Despite being a non-Christian, I generally enjoy the Christmas season. But I don't like the fact that Christmas decorations started going up in Downtown Seattle in mid-November. Which is why I appreciate this sign I saw in Nordstrom's window yesterday. Thanksgiving is next week, and the Christmas season should start the day after Thanksgiving. I wish other retailers would follow suit.

Thank you Nordstrom!

i particularly thought it was ridiculous when i went shopping in SF last weekend and it was 80 degrees out and they were playing xmas music in all the stores
But not Nordstrom, I hope...
it's a shame that nordstrom would even have to advertise such a thing.
in news of the wrong direction, i saw a salvation army bell ringer outside of fred meyer yesterday. i've never seen one of them before thanksgiving.
